Project summary

Entromy is an AI-powered platform, SaaS, where clients typically log in only 2-4 times a year to launch strategic surveys. Given this low usage frequency, improving engagement was a significant challenge.

Results

  • 41% increase in views per user

  • 144% increase in average engagement time

Process

My role

As the product designer, I led the homepage dashboard redesign, overseeing requirement gathering, stakeholder alignment, and implementation. The goal was to create a more engaging and intuitive experience that encouraged users to explore beyond their immediate survey needs.

What went well

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Successful alignment with stakeholders to meet both business and user goals.

  • Opportunity to create guidelines: The project served as a base for future projects in the platform, in terms of data visualization, components, and information architecture

Challenges

  • Lack of prior user data: We had minimal data on how the home dashboard was previously used, which made it challenging to base decisions purely on analytics. We relied on conversations, direct feedback, and indirect insights to guide the redesign process.

  • Technical challenges: Overcoming obstacles with data rendering, chart UI creation, and new component design required collaboration with developers to ensure smooth integration.

  • Standardizing design patterns: Creating a consistent, reusable design system that would improve future project deliveries and align with new UI components.

Outcome

Results

After launching the redesign, we saw:

  • 41% increase in views per user

  • 144% increase in average engagement time

Client impact

  • Clients responded positively, with early feedback indicating increased interest in additional platform features.

  • Multiple feedbacks from existing clients of improvement on data clarity and easier UI
